This is the last blog in the travel boudoir series from Florida, and possibly one of my favorite… though it’s such a close race because I love ALL of the posts so much! My heart is in the forest, that’s where I feel the most connected to nature, and the most at peace. It also proved to be the most challenging shoot of all of them. Continue reading
Jena’s session was so much fun! She came to us as this adorable girl with an amazing smile dressed in scrubs and was transformed into a sultry vixen!
This is Emily. She is an absolutely amazing person and probably one of my favorite people I’ve ever met. She’s a full time mom to her adorable little girl, Emma. Sometimes being a mom can take over a woman’s time leaving no time for herself. Emily came to us for her 30th birthday. She wanted to feel beautiful again, and she wanted to scratch off a boudoir photo shoot from her bucket list. She also wanted to give her husband an album as a gift, so it was a win win win situation.
Here’s what Emily had to say about her session,
Leah does fitness competitions and works hard on her body (and it shows)! She is also an enthusiastic entrepreneur owning 3 local gyms. All that on top of being a mother of two as well as a wife! She was really fun to photograph and super sweet!
Charmaine’s boudoir session took place in our Baton Rouge studio. She was a riot to work with! We had so much fun for her session I never wanted it to end! She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart and lovely curves. She brought some great outfits including a fishnet bodysuit (take note ladies!) a loose purple blouse and a sheet. Wait… that last one doesn’t quite count as an outfit unless you’re an ancient Roman. Nonetheless wearing nothing but a white sheet makes a GORGEOUS set of photos for boudoir! She did some implied nude as well as nude photos and I don’t think I could be any more in love with them!
Mindy & Justin’s couple’s boudoir session is one that will go down in the history books for Max and I. Mindy has done a boudoir session with us before (view HERE), so we already knew how much we LOVED having her as a client. When she messaged us to book ANOTHER session, we were excited. We were THROUGH THE ROOF with excitement to do a couple’s session with her and her husband!!! We knew it was going to be awesome, but there was no way for us to really know just how awesome it was going to be. It was our first time meeting Justin, who just so happens to be a quite handsome guy, not to mention very down to earth. The 4 of us meshed well immediately as if we had been friends since birth. While Mindy was being pampered in hair and makeup, we all chatted. I knew Max and I were in for it as they were getting dressed in their first outfit, The way he was helping her with her clothes was just heart warming, it was something he said… just so sweet. That was just the start of it. When we started photographing them we were enamored by their love for each other. I kid you not when I say Max and I BOTH teared up at one particular shot (the one of them smiling at each other, she’s over him).
The session, the photos, and the experience were all just incredible. And that’s not even mentioning how much THEY enjoyed the session!!! As parents of an adorable little boy, Dax, it’s easy for them to overlook the simple things that made them fall in love with each other in the first place. We gave them the chance to let life slow down enough so that they can be consumed in each other’s gazes, and to breathe each other’s breath. We gave them a tangible representation of their love for each other. (shucks… there I go again, pass the Kleenex please). It was a really beautiful experience and Max and I are so honored to be able to do something like this as our career. It’s the most fulfilling life I can possibly imagine. Helping women love themselves and showing couples their love for each other….. man. It just doesn’t get any better than this!!!!
And now, the photos from Mindy & Justin’s couple’s session. These images are from the design of their Fine Art Book. Continue reading
Where do I even start with Monique? She jumped on board the Breathless in New Orleans promotion and we instantly fell in love with this woman! She is so full of personality and genuine awesomeness! She had great spunk and the best ideas the whole time. From 70’s style shorts and sexy sunglasses to vintage inspired styling, she rocked it! We were tickled to find out she blogged about her experience. Continue reading
