Erica is an extraordinary woman whom I found very inspiring. She has been through some really rough stuff, but was given a new chance at life and has not taken it for granted. Her personality had so much spunk that it inspired me to try new things with her, particularly in the fine art nudes section.
So as I mentioned last week, Max and I went to Shreveport recently to give Sharelle the gentle push she needed to produce more tastefully erotic work (her blog about it here). While we were there, she photographed ME for practice. I’ve been shot many times before, but it never fails that I get nervous every. single. time. No idea why, I just do. And I know it’s ridiculous and silly and yadda yadda, I know I’ll be fine, just like I always tell my own clients (who are also almost always nervous).
Alas, in the end I LOOOVE the photos! I knew I would, I love Sharelle’s work.
So, without further ado, here I am! (Is it crazy that I’m even nervous about posting my own photos?! Sheesh!)
“I don’t want to be cute. I’m always cute.” That’s what Sharelle, a fellow boudoir photographer from Shreveport, told us when we set up a shoot with her at her studio. She wanted something that would “wow” her husband. We scheduled a shoot play date with her because she wanted to push herself a little further in her work to get tastefully provocative images. Max and I gave her some tips, photographed her so she would know what it feels like, then she photographed me so she could practice. (I’ll post my photos next week, stay tuned!)
Check out her blog about it here (and you can cheat and see my photos a week early).
